BRUTAL 808s Pack
The BRUTAL 808s Pack is a professional-grade collection of hard-hitting 808 bass samples designed for modern hip hop, trap, drill, rage, and electronic music production. Built around power, clarity, tonal variety, and aggressive character, this 808 sample pack gives producers a versatile selection of low-end sounds ready to bring weight and energy to their next beat.
In modern music production, the 808 is much more than a simple bass sound. It provides the foundation of the low end, adds movement to the rhythm, and can dramatically shape the energy of a track. Creating powerful trap 808s that remain clean and controlled, however, can be challenging. Too much distortion can make the low end muddy and uncontrolled, while an overly clean 808 can lack the character and impact needed for modern production.
That is the idea behind the BRUTAL 808s Pack — delivering aggressive, powerful bass sounds while maintaining the weight and presence producers need in a mix.

The Vision Behind BRUTAL 808s
Many modern 808 sample packs rely heavily on clipping and distortion to create aggressive bass sounds. While this can add intensity and harmonic energy, excessive processing can weaken the fundamental sub frequencies and leave an 808 sounding thin, harsh, or difficult to control.
The goal behind BRUTAL was to create distorted 808s that retain their low-end weight while delivering enough harmonic presence to cut through a full production.
Each sound was developed around three core characteristics:
- Powerful Sub Frequencies: Deep fundamentals provide the low-end weight needed for modern trap, drill, and hip hop production.
- Controlled Saturation: Carefully shaped distortion adds grit, character, and presence without completely overpowering the sub frequencies.
- Multiple Textures: The collection includes short, punchy 808s as well as longer sustained sounds suitable for slides, glides, basslines, and evolving patterns.
The result is a collection of hard-hitting 808 bass samples with different tonal characteristics and production applications.
20 Distinct 808 Bass Variations
The pack contains 20 carefully designed 808 variations, with each sound offering a different combination of tone, decay, saturation, and harmonic character.
Some 808s feature short, aggressive envelopes that work well for fast trap patterns where the bass needs to hit quickly and leave space for the kick. Others feature longer tails that are better suited to drill 808 slides, pitch automation, sustained basslines, and atmospheric production.
This range of sounds makes the pack suitable for producers working across multiple styles, including:
Trap • Drill • Hip Hop • Rage • Dark Trap • Underground Rap • Electronic Music
Waveform Design & Sound Character
The sounds were designed to go beyond basic sine-wave basses. Different levels of harmonic saturation, distortion, compression, and waveshaping were used to create distinct waveform characteristics and tonal textures.
Some samples deliver a thick and controlled low end, while others introduce stronger mid-range harmonics for additional aggression and presence. This variety allows the 808s to remain powerful and recognizable across different playback systems.
For producers looking for aggressive 808 samples, dark trap bass, or distorted bass sounds, these tonal differences provide plenty of flexibility for different production styles.
Built for FL Studio & Modern Production
The core sounds were created using sine and triangle-based foundations and carefully tuned to C, making them easy to work with in MIDI-based production workflows.
This makes the pack especially convenient for FL Studio producers. The samples can be loaded into Sampler, Channel Rack, or other instruments and then adjusted to different musical keys when needed.
Precise pitch and volume envelopes were also used throughout the sound-design process. Some 808s feature sharp pitch drops for a more powerful attack, while others use smoother transitions for arrangements where the kick and bass require greater separation.

INFOControlled Distortion & Low-End Processing
One of the defining characteristics of BRUTAL is its approach to distortion.
Rather than simply pushing every sample through extreme clipping, the sound-design process focused on creating controlled harmonic saturation while retaining the essential sub frequencies.
The deepest frequencies remain focused and powerful, while additional harmonics add the aggression and presence commonly associated with modern trap 808s and drill bass.
This balance gives producers more room to shape the sounds inside a full mix without losing the impact expected from a modern 808.
Professional WAV Quality
Every sample was exported as a high-quality 24-bit WAV file and carefully checked before final delivery.
The sounds were cleaned, normalized, and trimmed with attention to their start and end points to help minimize unwanted clicks, pops, and unnecessary silence. The result is a production-ready collection of professional 808 WAV samples that can be immediately integrated into beats, loops, and full productions.
Whether you are producing dark trap, aggressive drill, modern hip hop, rage beats, or experimental electronic music, the BRUTAL 808s Pack is designed to give your low end more weight, character, and impact.
